Sunrise tip: For an extra kick of flavour, add a dash of hot sauce to the honey mustard marinade.
Time: 10 minutes
Heat 10 ml of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side.
Add salt and crushed pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Once cooked, place them in a bowl and keep them aside to cool down.
Time: 10 minutes
In another bowl, combine the Sunrise Mustard Powder and salt with lukewarm water. Mix it evenly until it becomes a slurry.
Keep it for 10-15 minutes before use.
Time: 5 minutes
Take out the cooled chicken mixture bowl, add honey, the previously prepared mustard slurry and mayonnaise. Mix well.
Once mixed properly, keep it aside.
Time: 5 minutes
Take a slice of sandwich bread and spread a layer of butter on it. Place a slice of cheese over the buttered bread, then evenly spread the marinated chicken on top.
Add another slice of cheese over the chicken to seal in the filling. Finally, place a second slice of bread on top to complete the sandwich.
Repeat to make another sandwich.
Time: 10 minutes
Grease the outer part of the sandwich with butter and place it in the griller for 3 minutes.
Once grilled, cut it into 4 triangles, and serve immediately on the serving platter with tomato sauce. Enjoy your messy, zesty sandwiches!
